The plan requires businesses to develop a COVID preparedness plan based on industry-specific requirements, assign a plan administrator to execute and monitor the plan, and distribute it to all workers.

Fines for not complying with the COVID requirements for a business's industry can result in fines of up to $500 per violation and up to a month in jail
