Under executive orders from Governor Larry Hogan, all businesses reopening in Maryland must adhere to the state's Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery plan. Maryland is currently in Stage Three of the plan which allows for 50% capacity at indoor theaters and 50% capacity at outdoor venues. Retail establishments and religious facilities may reopen at 75% capacity. Employers are encouraged to take the Back to Business Pledge and display a sign at their establishment to that effect.
The pledge includes a commitment to creating an environment that allows for 6 feet of social distancing, maintaining routine cleanliness habits, training employees on hygiene best practices and expectations, and reducing the use of high touch surfaces.
