Under executive orders from Governor Tony Evers, all businesses reopening in Wisconsin were asked to adhere to the Badger Bounce Back plan. While the Wisconsin Supreme disallowed implementation of the plan back in May 2020, data benchmarks outlined in the plan continue to be monitored by the state. According to the state's COVID data dashboard, which includes three levels of case activity - very high, high, and low, all but four counties fall under the very high case activity category.
Under the plan employers should adjust operations to limit exposure of higher risk employees and develop training covering topics like mask wearing, proper hygiene and best practices when feeling ill. Other guidelines include monitoring proper glove usage, limiting staff, and regularly disinfecting common areas.
