About the Role

Inside sales This is an inside-sales role, meaning 95% of your sales efforts will be conducted using our best-in-class tech stack to execute the sales process (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Apollo, Sales Navigator). You may also have the opportunity to sell directly to customers at trade shows.

Full Cycle You'll own every deal from first touch to signed contract. While 75% of our closed-won deals come from our marketing team’s inbound engine, your outbound efforts will be equally crucial for hitting quota. This is true sales ownership—you'll prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close without handoffs or dependencies. You'll need to seamlessly shift from cold outreach to contract negotiations, making this role perfect for versatile sellers who thrive on complete deal control and accountability.

Mid-Market & New Vertical Expansion You'll sell to mid-market restaurant brands (JustSalad, Salt & Straw, Smashburger, Blaze Pizza, Bonchon Fried Chicken) with 10-50 locations, while spearheading our expansion into consumer services—fitness chains, wellness centers, beauty salons, and retail stores. We've proven strong traction across the service industry and need a dedicated seller to capitalize on this high-growth opportunity. You'll be building the playbook for verticals with massive upside potential.

Account Based Selling You should be confident owning +200 accounts and having 20-25 active opportunities at any given time across both established and emerging verticals. You should have experience conducting an account-based-selling approach to strategically target and engage your assigned accounts. In the consumer services vertical, you'll have the unique opportunity to establish Opus as the category-defining solution while building relationships with industry leaders who haven't yet experienced our platform. You should also be competent at efficient pipeline management and multi-threaded communications with your active opportunities.

Consultative Selling You'll be expected to be proficient at solution selling and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. At Opus we solve problems and sell solutions -no demo feature dumping- so you'll need to recognize the economic drivers of your prospects and creatively tailor Opus' solution to their unique pain-points & buying constraints. Your pioneering work in consumer services will require exceptional discovery skills to understand new use cases, industry-specific challenges, and regulatory considerations that differ from our customers.

  • $150,000-$200,000 OTE (based on experience level)
