Our story started with providing English training in kitchens. We expanded our vision dramatically and built a lightweight, powerful learning tool designed for the 70% of American workers who don’t sit at a desk.

Our Team
Jeff Silver
Co-founder & CTO
Jeff has spent his entire career working in technology. Prior to Opus, Jeff was an Engineering Manager at Managed by Q. Before that, he co-founded “Into.” Jeff studied cognitive science and cloud computing at the University of Pennsylvania. He spent his early working days teaching sailing at summer camp.
Rachael Nemeth
Co-Founder & CEO
Rachael led operations and people for over a decade in the hospitality industry, most recently for Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group. She comes from a family of restaurant veterans, including her grandfather who owned Don's World of Beef, a restaurant chain based in Kansas City in the 1960's. Rachael is also certified in second language acquisition and teaching English as a Second Language.
Vince Li
Co-founder & Head of Design
Vince is a distinguished product designer and design leader. Prior to Opus, he was Director of Design at Managed by Q and Senior Product Designer at Moat. Vince also ran his own Design Studio in Amsterdam. He has the cutest kid on the planet, who is not named Opus. We tried.
