Frequently asked questions

Is Opus right for my business?
Opus is built for multi-unit brands with frontline teams: restaurants, hospitality groups, fitness and wellness, car washes, franchise systems, and consumer services. Company-owned, franchised, and mixed models all run on Opus.

You'll get the most value if:
- Consistency across locations is slipping and you can't see where
- Standards change faster than you can retrain
- Your team is lean and resource constrained
- In-person coaching and training no longer covers every location

If you run a single location and train everyone yourself, you likely don't need a system like this yet at this time.
How much does Opus cost, and how is pricing structured?
Opus is typically priced per location, so you can add as many Admins, Managers, and Trainees as you need without tracking a seat count. Per-user pricing is available when it fits your model better.

From there we scope to your plan, the products you use (training, ops, compliance training), and your service needs. Volume discounts apply, and annual, quarterly, and monthly billing are available. The result is pricing built around your business that stays predictable.
How do I know if Core or Growth is right for my business?
Choose Core if you're centralizing your operating standards for the first time. Everything moves out of binders, drives, and group chats into one place your team can search from their phone in any language.

Choose Growth when you're ready to teach those standards and verify they landed. Growth adds sequenced role-based training, digital and in-person assessments, certifications, and reporting your Managers can act on.

The quick test: if your team can't find the answer, start with Core. If they can find it but aren't doing it consistently, start with Growth. You can move from Core to Growth later with no data loss or downtime.
What support and services are included?
Every plan includes a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and we stay more hands-on than most platforms do.

For Admins: your Success Manager plans the rollout with you, builds the first programs alongside your team, runs training, and meets on an ongoing cadence to tune what's working. They’ve worked with hundreds of businesses like yours and can guide you through. Admins also get our training operations community, where L&D leaders at other multi-unit brands share what's working.

For Managers: your field leaders and location managers get training and direct product support by the Opus team. This saves your corporate team time while also unblocking your store leaders quickly.

Getting your content in: we help bring your existing content and org structure into Opus so you're not starting from an empty account. If you need more, we can scope additional build work as a paid add-on, or introduce you to independent consultants who know Opus and multi-unit brands.

Enterprise adds a dedicated implementation and change management team, a managed pilot, and an expedited SLA.
How long does implementation take?
Most customers are live within a few weeks to a few months, depending on the scope of your program, your team's bandwidth, and what you need in place at launch.

Opus is built to iterate over time, so you don't have to have everything perfect to start. Your Customer Success Manager phases the rollout to get your team using Opus quickly.
Do you offer a free trial or a pilot?
Yes. Start a free trial and get into the product yourself. For larger rollouts, Enterprise includes a managed pilot: we set up a small group of locations with your real content, agree what success looks like, and measure it before you commit across the system.
Why run checklists and audits in the same platform as training?
Our customers saw strong traction with Opus on the frontline and wanted their daily operations in the same place their teams already go.Training, checklists, and audits reinforce each other.

Training is where standards start. Checklists reinforce them shift by shift, and Audits verify they're holding, with every finding assigned to a named person until it's fixed.

Keeping all three together saves your managers and teams real time and spares them another login. It also shows you where execution is breaking down, so you can improve the training behind it.
