New in Opus 🌱
Spring is here, and with it comes more ways for your team to show the work. This month's releases help you feel confident that your standards are being met—not just checked off. Here's what rolled out this month.
Multi-Photo and Video Verification 📸
One photo doesn't always tell the whole story. Now your team can submit multiple photos or videos in Task Lists, Check-ins, and Audits. That way, you get the visual confirmation you need without the follow-up.
Example: A closing crew member records a video of their station to confirm it's clean. You see exactly what they saw, and your proof stays on record.
QR Codes for Task Lists, Check-Ins, and Audits 📲
Your team can now scan a QR code to jump straight into Opus—no navigation required. Post them wherever the work happens and watch completion rates climb.
Example: A trainee scans QR code for the opening task list at the start of their shift and gets right to work.
Faster Assignments in the App 🏃
We simplified how managers assign training in the Opus Training app, so it’s easier to do mid-shift without missing anyone.
Training Example: Just Salad BOH Training 🧑🍳
Just Salad certifies every prep team member in Opus before they touch anything in the kitchen. The result: industry-leading product consistency and a training culture that carries from onboarding through promotions.
April Office Hours: Train the Trainer 🎤
Most Train the Trainer programs stop at "shadow someone for a week." During Office Hours, we’ll dig deeper in the "Trainer" role. April 16 & 18.
Thank You: Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2026 🏆
Opus was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2026. We're proud of the recognition—and we mean it when we say this wouldn't have happened without you. Your feedback, your candid conversations, and your willingness to push us to build better have shaped everything on this list. Thank you for being the kind of customers who make this work matter.
